Best of Lindau!

Fascinated to discuss with quantum physicist Klaus von Klitzing (Nobel Prize in Physics 1985) about his recent work on the quantum effects in 2D/SiC heterostructures – the very same system we're developing at Grififth for 2D optomechanical sensors (2D MEMS).
And to top it all off, I had the incredible opportunity to hold his Nobel Medal – this is gold!

Our latest 3D printing paper published on Nano Trends

In this work, we simultaneously exfoliate graphite into high-quality graphene and formulate 3D printable graphene inks using a highly conductive nanofibrillar network formulation by recrystallization of PEDOT:PSS nanofibrils.
And we can 3D print some pretty cool stuffs, mostly for energy applications.

Performing neutron scattering experiments at ANSTO

A special visit to Australia's only nuclear reactor at ANSTO Lucas Heights. We utilise the OPAL nuclear reactor that uses low-enriched-uranium (LEU) to study the bulk dispersions of graphene complexes, by exploiting the sensitivity of neutrons toward hydrogen at the atomic level.
I can neither confirm nor deny the exciting outcomes of our experiments..!! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Hooray... It is my graduation day!

This is the date I'm officially becoming a doctor (who is not saving lives). My PhD journey was a roller-coaster, with the relocation of my team from Adelaide to RMIT, and then... the disruption caused by Covid-19, with lockdowns and lab closures. It is so satisfying to be on this date - the conclusion of my PhD journey!
